Research Scholarship in Entrepreneurial Finance at Leuphana University 2025

In 2025, Leuphana University of Lüneburg is offering a PhD scholarship in Entrepreneurial Finance within its Doctoral Research Group Entrepreneurship, Management & Innovation (EMI). Awarded for a maximum of three years (plus an additional 12 months for candidates with caregiving responsibilities), the scholarship provides €1,650 per month and supports empirical research in areas like entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and sustainable management.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Possess a Master’s degree or Diploma in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, business informatics, or a related field.
  • Exhibit a profound enthusiasm for data science and/or finance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in statistical software, including R, Python, or Stata.
  • (Ideally) possess experience with empirical financial research and financial datasets.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication abilities in both German and English.
