Responsibilities:
As a Site Supervisor, you will:
- Coordinating, directing, and supervising subcontractors and construction personnel
- Efficiently managing site resources, apparatus, and materials
- Evaluating the veracity and feasibility of construction drawings and specifications
- Guaranteeing the strict adherence to safety standards and building regulations
- Managing unforeseen obstacles and resolving work-related disputes
- Preparing daily/weekly status reports and monitoring progress
- Working in conjunction with project managers, engineers, and architects
- Conducting routine site inspections and safety briefings
- Conducting staff evaluations and approving work timetables
- Guaranteeing that initiatives are completed within the designated timeframe and budget
Who We’re Looking For:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in construction
- Familiarity with Canadian building codes and safety laws
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and scheduling/reporting software
- Willingness to work outdoors and travel to project sites
International Applicants Must Also:
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
- Have verifiable experience in a related role
- Be open to relocation within Canada
